  1. What I can conclude about the speech act material is that the speech act is the smallest unit of speech activity (conversation or discourse) that occurs in social interaction. Speech act is meaningful if it is realized in an act of real communication. In addition, there are three meanings of speech acts. They are locutionary meaning, illocutionary meaning and perlocutionary meaning. Then there are several types of speech acts, namely assertive, directives, commissives, and declaratives.

  2. I think speech act is the way to express a message by the utterance as well as the action. Speech act has three classification, those are,
    1. Locutionary: describe what people say
    2. Illocutionary: describe what speaker intend to do
    3. Perlocutionary: effect for the hearer

  4. I think speech act is actions that performed via utterances. And the actions performed by producing an utterance will consist of three related acts first is locutionary act, second is illocutionary acts, third is perlocutionary act. Speech act classification lists five general types of general function performed by speech acts: declaration, representatives, expressive, directives, and commissive. A different approach to distinguish types of speech acts can be made on the basis structure. Whenever there is a direct relationship between a structure and a function, it is called direct speech acts. Whenever there is an indirect relationship between a structure and a function, it is called indirect speech act.Another phenomenon that theory of language use has to accounts for it the fact speaker sometimes means what they say literally and sometimes Non-literally.
